Should i forget about him?

we met at camp and we immediately liked each other..hes so nice and hes 2 years older. i cant drive but he can and he broke up with his girlfriend for me. we live 3 hours apart and i asked my parents if he could stay with my family for a couple days. they finally agreed but his parents are still unconvinced and they seem more unconvinced as time goes on. what should i do?? i reaaaally like him, we just click. i want to be with him but his parents wont let us. maybe theyll change their minds but idk. help!
