Why do Packers fans call Brett Favre "Brent Favre"?

I watched the Vikings-Packers game today and I saw a sign saying welcome back to Lambeau Brent Favre... And I did not understand this at all. Does is have some sort of meaning to it? Or do Wisconsinites just think it's funny to purposely mess up someone's name?
