Can I freeze a cake that has already been frosted and will it still be good when I thaw it in a week?

I mixed up my dates on a luncheon and I made a Halloween cake for this Wednesday and it is supposed to be for next Wednesday. I worked really hard on it and it turned out really cute. If I freeze it and thaw it next Tuesday will it still be good? Any tips on how to properly freeze it would be helpful also. I can't think of a way to wrap it tightly since it is already frosted. Thanks for any help I can get!!!
