Can we sue for slander?

I don't see a case for slander here. Police investigated the matter and released the results of their investigation. It happens all the time. Even if they came out said he did it, thats not slander. Instead I would get your side out their - go to the press, talk it up around town. Doent the witnesses and get their stories out their. good luck
