How many alleles can occur at a micro-satellite locus?

Probably an infinite number, Micro-satellites contain repeats of 1-3 bp and can be repeated in clusters of 15-100 times, so this presents you with the possibility of enormous variation; therefore lots of alleles. I'm not sure if there is a way to empirically determine how many.
