Can u use a ps3 bought from the middle east in canada?

hi i have a 80 GB ps3( the 2 USB one), model number CECHL04 which i bought about a year ago in Kuwait. i found out that i might be goin back to canada and i wanted to know if i can use it in canada. i use the european plug with the 2 circles at the end which i can get a converter for.
